Down To Earth Acid Mix fertilizer is perfect for all of your acid loving plants that grow best in low pH soils – azaleas, hydrangeas, evergreen shrubs and trees, blueberries, raspberries, potatoes, rhododendrons and many others. One of the main ingredients in DTE Acid Mix is cottonseed meal, a byproduct of the cotton manufacturing industry that acidifies the soil and provides slow-release nutrients as it breaks down. Spring applications of this exceptional combination of ingredients will encourage foliage growth, flowering and fruiting. Late autumn applications promote the development of healthy root systems and increase plant resistance to winter cold.
